ITALIAN LIMONCELLO
Zest of 15 fresh Lemons, 2 fifth 100 proof Vodka, 4 cups Sugar, 5 cups Water
Wash the lemons with a vegetable brush and hot water to remove any reside of pesticides or wax. Carefully zest the lemons with a zester or vegetable peeler so there is no white pith on the peel. -- In a 1-gallon glass jar, add one fifth vodka and the lemon zest. Cover the jar and let sit at room temperature for at least 10 days, and up to 40 days in a cool dark place. -- In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and water and cook until thickened, appx. 5 to 7 minutes. Let the syrup cool before adding it to the limoncello mixture. Add the additional fifth of vodka. Allow to rest for another 10 to 40 days. -- After the rest period, strain and bottle, discarding the lemon zest. Keep in the freezer until ready to serve. great for parties (longer you let the zest and vodka rest the better)

Take your favorite gin or vodka, preferably top shelf, and pour it over ice into a shaker while you say, "Hail Mary, mother of God, the Lord is with thee." Then take dry vermouth, the clear kind, and pour a capful into the shaker saying, "Amen". Stir or shake, it don't make no difference and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with whatever you like, olive, lime or lemon twist, pickled onion, .45 slug, whatever...
NOTE: Hmmm... I got an email from a professional bar tender who is not happy with this recipe.
Here is what he said:
I used to bartend at the Savoy hotel, in london, generally the place credited with inventing the martini, so i know a bit about them. The recipe says shake or stir, it doesnt matter. It doesn't matter with vodka, but you should never shake gin, because it "bruises" the gin, which effects the taste. Just some useless knowledge for you.

in a shaker, shake all ingredients together, strain into cocktail glass, perch cherry on rim of glass

Ramos Fizz
1-1/2 oz. Gin, 1 tbsp. Powdered Sugar, 3-4 drops Orange-flavored Water, Juice of 1/2 Lime, Juice of 1/2 Lemon,
1 Egg White, 1-1/2 oz. Cream, 1 squirt Seltzer, 2 drops Vanilla Extract (optional)
Mix ingredients in order given!
Add crushed Ice - not too fine - since lumps help froth the egg white.
Shake for a good long time, until mixture acquires body. Strain into tall thin glass

Once the sugar melts into the lemon, blow out the flame, suck the lemon, and slam the drink.

Take two chopsticks in a v shape above a half glass of Japanese beer.

2Oz. Yukon Jack, 1/2Oz. Ginger Ale.
Stir in glass filled with crushed ice.

ZOMBIE
1 1/2 OUNCES DARK RUM (86 PROOF)
3/4 OUNCE JAMAICAN RUM (90 PROOF)
3/4 OUNCE LIGHT RUM (86 PROOF)
3/4 OUNCE PINEAPPLE JUICE
1 OUNCE LIME JUICE
1 TEASPOON POWDERED SUGAR
Shake with ice; strain into a chilled pint glass.
Garnish with pineapple wheel and a cherry. Float Demerara rum (151 proof) and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
